SUNDAY TEA DANCES
Sunday Tea Dances are held once a month at the Space Hub at 3.00 – 5.00pm and every other month at the Bourne End Community Centre at 2.00-4.15pm.
Dancers of all levels are welcome to our Tea Dances. Spectators are also welcome. Both couples and singles are warmly welcomed at our Tea Dances. Singles are encouraged to come.
We are aware that single ladies often have difficulties finding a partner. To ensure they have a good dancing experience at our Tea Dances, both my husband and I can dance with single ladies. I can dance with gentlemen who come on their own.

COMING TO A TEA DANCE IS FUN
A Tea Dance is a great place to practise steps and routines in a friendly and non-competitive atmosphere. It is also a very sociable activity and is a good opportunity to meet up with friends and make new ones.
There is a very large dance floor at the Space Hub with plenty of room to step out without feeling constricted. The studio has mood lighting which gives it a great atmosphere. Seating is around tables off one side of the dance floor.
There is a good sized dance floor at the Bourne End Community Centre. Seating is at either end of the hall and off to the side of the dance floor.
We play a mixture of Ballroom and Latin and a few well known Sequence Dances at our Tea Dances. We can include Salsa and Argentine Tango as well if dancers request them.
Client Reviews
Penny and Peter run some of the most enjoyable Tea Dances we’ve ever attended. They are varied, well structured, suitable for all levels of dancers and sociable.
Mr and Mrs K of Maidenhead
Penny and Peter’s Tea Dances are the best around because they both dance with singles so they do not feel left out. The music played simply makes you want to dance and their Tea Dances are also lovely social events. The studio at Vibez in Woodley has a wonderful, huge sprung floor and tabled seating to the side of the dance floor for those who want to sit it out for a minute – far superior to the average village hall.
